Dr. Anne-Marie Reikes is an animal lover at heart and from a young age wanted to be a veterinarian. Her love of animals flowed into everything she did, with her Girl Scout Gold Award project focusing on organizing an animal adoption event. She pursued her undergraduate studies at both UC Davis and Loyola Marymount University. She went on to attend Western University of Health Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, a part of the inaugural graduating class in 2007. After graduation, she worked in small animal general medicine for over 13 years, building lasting relationships with her clients and patients. She has been assisting pets in having a peaceful in-home end-of-life experience since 2016 and finds immense fulfillment in being able to offer this service.
In her spare time, Dr. Anne-Marie enjoys spending time with her family, especially outdoors. She loves camping, hiking, skiing, and engaging in a wide variety of water sports. She enjoys spending time with her many family pets including her dog, Hunter, two cats, Queen Jillian and Axel, a bearded dragon named Spike, and a snake named Corney.
